Terry Rolison - I am a guitar teacher with vast experience, which includes running one of London's most successful private music schools entering over 250 learners a year for ABRSM music exams and achieving 100% pass rate most terms.
I teach Classical Guitar, Acoustic fingerstyle, Jazz & Blues. I also teach Rock Guitar and regularly play with a band which gigs around Essex.
New Monday night; Blues jam, strum your favourite songs along with other people. This is an adult group ideal for learners that want to jam and play in a small group, with no pressure.
It will include playing using scales for blues improvisation, jazz chords and strumming songs from c1950's to c1990's.
Philippa Rolison - I am a Piano teacher with over 30 years' experience. Piano lessons to grade 8 also harpsichord. I teach ABRSM piano and music theory to grade 8 on line only.
Young children from 5 years start with classical guitar learning to read music, developing a good right and left hand technique. Older children can learn using TAB and chords.
Adult learners can be taught most styles including rock & pop, acoustic fingerstyle, acoustic blues & slide guitar. A lot of the learning material for adults comes from song arrangements I use for my band. Some of my students come to watch us, play or join in rehearsals.
I have been in the music business for over 30 years, starting out as a piano tuner working in London for some of the worlds leading recording artists, including George Michael, Dire Straits and Elton John. For the last 15 years I have been working as a guitar teacher running a private music school with over 200 students attending lessons each week.
